Another white guy will get to keep his life. (No. I am not referring to Kyle Rittenhouse who I predict will likely get exonerated because, remember, there were no victims, just rioters.) Instead, I refer to that other white guy, Rodgers. Yeah, that ‘Rodgers.’ It is the same Dr. Rodgers who never earned a college degree (if reporting is correct) but did earn an honorary degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin (an honorary doctorate of humanities degree). That’s like saying, “No. I am not a Immunologist, but I did stay at a ******* Inn last night.”
Immunologist Rodgers also consulted podcast host Joe Rogan. Solid dude. Just solid. Rogan, the standup comic, UFC color commentator and self-described ‘‘psychedelic adventurer’’ did state he (Rogan) was not a doctor but for whatever reason, told Rodgers to suck down ivermectin rather than a vaccine. (Just thinking out loud, I’m positive Ivermectin is on the approved NFL drug list. If the doc’ is sucking it down, it has to be approved. Right?) The ‘doc’ also got support from the fiancé, but the Daily Beast indicated she managed to make it about the size of his package (d**k). The Doc’s fiancé posted an Instagram story with a screenshot of a Daily Mail article that appeared to use a photo of another man. “Literally ya’ll need to calm the fuck down,” she wrote. “This is straight up HILARIOUS. News outlets STILL grasping at straws to disparage Aaron. Finding random fucking men on the streets of la and saying it’s him.” She then drew a circle around the random man’s feet and wrote: “I know Aaron’s body. VERY well. First off, his feet, ahem and no offense to this rando dude, are a LOT bigger. 😉”
In An Open Letter From From the Woke Mob to Aaron Rodgers, Michael Harriot wrote “… somehow, Mr. Rodgers thinks we have been planning a targeted attack on his homegrown COVID cure. Why would we give a millimeter of a fuck that he had the unbridled Caucasity to claim he “researched” a virus that has befuddled the entire medical community by hitting the send button to his inkjet printer? Furthermore, if there is one thing WOKEMOB is concerned about, it’s definitely not the National Football League. We kinda stopped caring about professional football when our washcloth-reluctant constituents started burning their Costco Nikes after our last campaign involving an NFL quarterback. Plus, we don’t even have a chapter in Wisconsin! Our Milwaukee affiliates are at-large members.“
And here’s my rub. According to news reports, even though his whack-shit Immunology research, the good doctor is unlikely to face any kind of suspension or serious fine even though that same medical advice will likely kill at least a couple thousand more cheddar-heads. (Or is it cheese-heads?) In fact the great doctor received support from State Farm Insurance. “Aaron Rodgers has been a great ambassador for our company for much of the past decade,” State Farm’s statement to USA TODAY said. “We don’t support some of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal point of view. We recognize our customers, employees, agents and brand ambassadors come from all walks of life, with differing viewpoints on many issues. Our mission at State Farm is to support safer, stronger communities. To that end, we encourage vaccinations, but respect everyone’s right to make a choice based on their personal circumstances.” And I thought State Farm’s mission was to be ‘like a good neighbor.’
God damn it folks, he’s a great ambassador, can pick apart some of the best NFL defenses, completely “researched” a virus that has befuddled the entire medical community, is an honorary doctor and has a large d**k. Shit doc,’ leave the rest of us mortal men some room.
In reality, the Packers, the NFL, Joe Rogan, and State Farm Insurance are complicit in helping the doc’ avoid any responsibility. Yet society allows a white Doc’ to insist he is “in the crosshairs of the woke mob” and the opportunity to defend himself “before my final nail gets put in my cancel-culture casket,” while simultaneously referencing Martin Luther King Jr. Man, that is one huge set of balls (I mean d**k).
You know what? My father died of COVID-19. I am pretty positive positive he would love to cancel this form of ‘culture.’ I wonder what his opinion is of the ‘woke mob’ thought philosophy. Oh, one other food for thought: If memory serves me correctly, all Colin Kaepernick did was kneel for equal justice and the NFL excommunicated him. Rodgers comments will likely lead more cheese-wads to suck down Ivermectin and unnecessarily suffer. But f**k it, like a good neighbor, the Doc’ is there. And that my friends is what white privilege is all about.
